BUYERS
Buying your new home is likely to be the
largest financial decision you will ever make.
Your house is not just your home. Real
estate is an investment in your future.
When buying a home you will probably have
many questions.
FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS
Meet with one of our mortgage brokers or
one of your own and find out how much you
can afford to pay for a home.
PRE-APPROVAL
Knowing how much you can afford is an
important step in the buying process.
Sellers will be more receptive to buyers who
have been pre-approved. And in order to
make an offer on most homes it is
requuired. With pre-approval, the buyer
actually applies for a mortgage and receives
a commitment in writing from the lender.
DOCUMENTS YOU SHOULD HAVE
• Financial statements
• Bank accounts
• Investments
• Credit cards
• Auto loans
• Recent pay stubs and last 2 years tax
returns
• Copies of leases for investment properties
• 401K statements, live insurance, stocks,
bonds, and mutual account information
HAVE YOUR LENDER CHECK YOUR
CREDIT SCORE
Your credit score will have a huge impact on
what type of propeprty you can by, and at
what price. It is first recommended to check
your credit rating with an experienced
lending institution so that you can
determine what you can afford. The lender
will research your credit ratings form the
three credit reporting agencies, Equifax,
Experian and Trans Union. We will be happy
to recommend experienced, knowledgeable
lenders in the residential, construction and
commercial and investment real estate
fields.
